Laser Vein Treatment - Face and Legs

VBeam Perfecta (Pulsed Dye) and Gentle YAG (Nd/YAG) laser vein treatment safely and very effectively treats unwanted veins from face and legs.

The laser creates a beam of high intensity light that penetrates deep into skin tissue where it is absorbed by hemoglobin in the blood vessels effectively “erasing” the vein.

During an office visit, a physician will guide the laser to the treatment area with a small hand-held probe. Each laser pulse will move along a blood vessel, tracing it. This will be preceded by a short pulse of cooling spray.

Most people average 75% clearing of purple spider veins with one treatment! Larger, blue-green veins and matting require more treatments.

Patients scheduled for leg vein treatment should plan to wear pantyhose for 3 days following treatment. It is recommended to avoid sun exposure before and throughout treatment to maximise results. A sunblock of 30 spf or higher should be worn daily during this time.
